Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright director, producer, and professor of St. Thomas University). Her father is from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's earliest memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna moved to Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop.
