Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for The One Direction band. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, and with his three classmates, formed a musical group called White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. In spite of always having been a fan of music, he also wanted to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. Part-time work in a city bakery was his first occupation to make money for his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This was the reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that was formed in the year 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the potential winners to win the award. However, they came in third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive an award, but Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
