Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. has been an American actress who is known for her portrayal of strong but vulnerable characters. Linney is a member of a theater family her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. She graduated at Brown University in 1986 and further studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow before graduating at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. She immediately began performing on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performances on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
